Golf Forums - First post from a new member!!

Hi All,

Just joined as a new member after taking up golf last year. I had a few lessons and have recently moved to a 4 day week where I have every Friday off, so if anyone fancies a game Friday mornings feel free to give me a shout.
I am playing off 26 at the moment, and hope to bring that down when my lessons start in a couple of weeks. I live in Hertfordshire, near the Essex borders and usually play either Whitehills, Panshanger, Nazing or Blakes. I'm looking to join a club, which will probably be Cannons Brook in Harlow, which I'll make my mind up on when I try it out in a couple of weeks.

It's pretty active around your neck of the woods. I've played a couple of times 'north of the river' and have always enjoyed the company if not the game (no comments about my lack of ability please!). So I don't think you'll struggle to get a few games in.

PS. Why don't you join the TSG Open Championship game at Hever Castle on Friday 16th April? (find it under the 'Games' search option).
