Description

Birchwood Golf Club was designed by T J A McAuley and was eventually constructed and then opened in the autumn of 1979. The facilities offered include a sports bar with a snooker table and large plasma TV, the main bar in the club lounge with a view of the 1st and 18th holes and a patio area to sit and socialise before and after golf in the better weather. The golf course features some excellent holes, some of which have elevated tees that provide panoramic views over water and tree lined fairways. The greens are in play throughout the year, weather conditions permitting. Visitors & Society groups are welcome.

Challenging long course

Good challenge even for the big hitters with great (cannot emphasise how great) greens.
You have to cross a road at times but being minor roads its not an issue.
Nice looking course with quite a bit of water dotted around.
