Description
The Bootle parkland golf course is both a public pay-as-you play course and the home of Bootle Golf Club. This course has always been regarded as a tough test of golf, its urban surroundings are now enhanced increasingly by plenty of trees and with three small lakes, it now has a distinctly rural setting. Each hole has its own identity, there are no overlapping holes and all the greens have something special.

Good Testing Muni

Over the last 12 months the course has improved greatly from it's recent "Slump" and would hopefully continue in this direction. This has been one of the few courses around that has been open all throuh the winter as it does drain a lot better than most of them. It's hoped that there will be some serious investment in both the course and it's infrestructure in the near future. Clubhouse closed last year but the staff in the ticketoffice/shop are friendly, polite and good humoured. Tea and coffee is available in there, as well as soft drinks and chocolates/crisps.
