Description
Braemar is the highest 18 hole golf course in Scotland at around 1,200 feet above sea level.  Sitting in the Dee valley alongside the River Clunie the course is generally flat, but there are some testing and tricky holes across the many ditches and streams.

The course is kept in excellent condition for the 'open' season (approx April to October)  and the greens are particularly good.

When the sun is shining you can enjoy the mountain views, local deer and Oyster Catchers as well as the golf.

Nice course in the mountains of Scotland

Made the regular trip North to Braemar for a spot of golf in the Highlands. Course was as immaculate as ever and makes for a relaxing walk when the sun shines - which is only occasionally!

If you are in that part of the world you should visit. Clubs available to hire if you have left yours at home.
