Description

The first nine holes of Burford course were opened for play in May of 1936 with the second nine holes being completed in 1937.  The 6,400 yard, Par 71 course is superbly laid out with trees giving good separation to the many parallel fairways. The natural soil provides good drainage and the greens are recognised as being a particular attribute. The course will provide a good challenge to even the most acomplished of golfer without proving too punitive to those of lessor ability.

Lovely course in perfect condition

The course is in perfect condition and i will be going back there before the year finishes. The fairways are like new carpets and the green and slick and they hold any ball that arrives on them.
