Lovely course, fantastic greens

Chobham golf course is now one of my favourites, good value for money, our 3 ball was £22.00 per person with an open fairways card!
The fairways were quite dry and hard in some places, no surprise with the current dry spell.
The greens however were superb, quite fast but very consistent throughout the course which makes a nice change!
The clubhouse is very smart, serves great food and the staff were very friendly. The members we met were also very friendly.
Definitely recommend a round here, going back next week myself!

Very enjoyable layout

Despite playing very poorly, I enjoyed my first visit to CGC. I took part in the Seniors Open, which was well organised and good value. The course is relatively short even off the white tees but far from easy. Long par 3s, water features and tight doglegs make it a very interesting challenge. Good course conditioning and a comfortable clubhouse make this well worth a visit at the right price.

A wonderful place to play!

As you drive into the car park you can pretty much see straight away that you're at a very nice club, and the golf course itself only enhances that viewpoint. Walking the holes you get the feeling that this is how golf is supposed to be, and I know the round finished way too early for me. It isn't long, but it isn't without it's defences if you start to stray too far from the fairways and greens. It was in good conditon, although the bunkers were suffering a little from all the horrendous rain we've had recently. I am not sure I would want to pay the full price to play here, but if you can get a deal then it's an excellent place to play. I know I hope to get back there soon.
