Conwy Golf Club is a magnificent Championship length links course in a truly inspiring setting.Located in the shadow of Conwy Mountain and overlooking the estuary towards Llandudno's Great Orme and the Isle of Anglesey, and at 6,936 yards off the back-tees, Conwy Golf Course is always challenging (never more so than when the wind is blowing) and with a nail biting finish as the narrow fairways run through the encroaching gorse the course offers an excellent challenge to even the very best golfer. Having hosted professional championships since 1898, the last few years has really seen Conwy Golf Club step up a level. In 2006 Conwy was the first club in Wales to stage the Final Qualifying Rounds of the Open Championship, when the Championship returned to Royal Liverpool and the club has played host to Ryder Cup Wales Seniors Open and the European Amateur Team Championships. The modern clubhouse, with two bars, lounge, snooker room, conference facilities and excellent dining facilities with superb views overlooking the course, is of a quality to match that of the course. Visitors are always welcome. Contact club to make arrangements
