Though, at 4,800 yards, Dunaverty is relatively short by modern standards, it is a testing course and its position means that the wind is very often a factor to be contended with if you are to score well. The course is always well maintained, it has natural springy turf on its undulating fairways and some excellent naturally draining greens. The spectacular views to Sanda Island, Ailsa Craig, and even Northern Ireland can only add to the sense of peach and enjoyment from a round at Dunaverty.
