Description
Dunstable Downs Golf Club provides an interesting challenge for golfers of all abilities. There are 18 holes over 6251 yards par 70. Holes 1 to 10 are parkland in nature; holes 11 to 18 along the top of the Downs are very "links" in nature.

The present layout was planned by James Braid and constructed by J.A. Stutt of Paisley (who also constructed the Championship Course at Carnoustie) in 1930. Originally 6,600 yards, the course today measures 6251 yards and features welcoming fairways requiring an infinite variety of approach shots to score well.

Thanks to the chalky subsoil the course is playable for most of the year and is always dry with fast, true contoured greens

A spirit of friendliness and sociability pervades the whole atmosphere in the Clubhouse. As a visitor you can always be assured of a warm welcome. Our Catering Staff will be pleased to serve you throughout the day - from breakfast to dinner.

The Clubhouse is designed to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of our members and guests and our Clubhouse staff will ensure that your needs are catered for.

Our Professional's shop is well stocked so that any forgotten items can be purchased.

Visitors and Societies Visitors are welcome to play at Dunstable Downs Golf Club through the week.

Green Fees are payable at the Golf Shop.

At weekends visitors must be introduced by and play with a member.

Society days are weekdays with the exception of Wednesdays and on Fridays there is a limit of 20 players.
