having played over 40 courses on the costa del sol,and have played this course many times before.can"t believe that this course is now in the most disgraceful condition of any course I have played,on the costa,from tee box to greens conditions are very poor,the buggies.the marshalls.and the club in general are a joke,I for one will never return to this course

  

difficult course,worth a visit

having played el chaparral many times in the past,the condition of the course was not as good as it has been,partly because of the on going fued that many of the courses are having with the local council over water rights.having said all this the greens are fairly quick but need work on them,fairways are ok as preferred lies are a local rule.it is a very much a thinking track and local knowledge helps
