The display boards in the British Golf Museum record Fraserburgh Golf Club as the 5th oldest club in Scotland and the 7th oldest in the world. Also Fraserburgh Golf Club would appear to be the oldest golf club in the World still operating under its original name. The club today offers two course - the 18 hole Corbie Hill course and the 9 hole Rosehill course.
The Corbie Hill is a natural 18 hole Scottish Links built round Corbie Hill. Although with older roots, the current course was largely designed by the five times open champion James Braid in 1922. Corbie Hill offers a good but fair test of golf. The fairways are well separated by seaside grasses and many species of rare wild flowers flourish including the Northern Marsh Orchid.
The Rosehill 9 hole course is more parkland by nature and, whilst not offering the challenge of the Corbie Hill, it still provides a good test of golfing skills.
