great winter course

Played here on the 28th jan and after all the rain we have had was expecting it to be wet and sodden like most of the other courses, what we found was a course in as good as condition as most are in summer, perfect tee areas, great firm carpet like fairways and quick true greens. We played the old course this time which had some great holes to play but i'm told that the wandlebury course is of equal standard.
Although we did'nt use it there is a lovely practice area complete with bunkers large putting green. The proshop were polite and helpful and the clubhouse and food were nice, any members we met both on the course and in the bar were welcoming and friendly. Overall would really recommend this course especially in the winter although am looking forward to retuning in the summer.

Fantastic Golf Club.

Gog Magog is truly a golfers heaven on earth, I played the Wandlebury in November and the Old Course in mid December and could not believe how good condition both courses were in, a credit to the ground staff. I would recommend you find the time to treat yourself to a day out at this fantastic Golf Club.
