Use to be the French open Golf course

The Chateaux course, technical 18 holes in the pure tradition of Scottish links, were design by American Bill COORE. Native North Carolina & graduate of Wake Forest University, Coore began his professional design and construction career in 1972 with the firm of Pete Dye and Associates. Under the Dyes' guidance, Coore was introduced to the elements of creative design and physical construction. During the succeeding ten years, Coore was involved in the design, construction and maintenance of golf courses.
Bill Coore formed his own design company in 1982 and join Ben Crenshaw (past Masters champion) in 1986.
architect Bill Coore. The wide fairways lined with heathers, the quality of greens, and the influence of winds coming from the Ocean make "The Chateaux" a fantastic golf challenge. It is necessary to play with a lot of intelligence and strategic sense, every shot is different. Considered one of the top courses in Europe, it is listed as the 12th best course in France and hosted the French Open in 1999.18 holes. Par 71. 6907 yards. Heathland.
