Gosforth Golf Club, often known as the Bridlepath, is set in 90 acres just three miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne city centre. This is an ideal setting for a high class golf course within the city limits. First opened in 1906, Gosforth Golf Club has evolved into a course that is a pleasure to play for golfers of all abilities. Gosforth Golf Club is a course of immense character. One of the major features of the course providing a test on many of the holes, is the Ouse Burn, which winds its way down the 18th and through the 4th on its way to the Tyne. A steady mix of tough par 4s, testing par 5s and gentle par 3s ensure the course is an enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities. Visitors alike are afforded a warm welcome in the form of a traditional clubhouse, and catering facilities.
