Hartlepool Golf Course is situated on the North East Coast of England within sight and sound of the sea. From spring to autumn the course is ablaze with the colour of wild flowers. The course, which runs along the coast, has been designed to take advantage of the many natural features. The seaward side is protected by hillocks and dunes covered with marram grass. James Braid designed some of the holes, the most spectacular being the tenth which requires a straight drive and a good second shot between dunes. Hartlepool is a friendly club offering good golf, with lovely views, throughout the year. Visitors to the course are made most welcome.
