(For more information on the course click here.) A driving net is available for warming up prior to play and all golfers are welcome to hit their own balls on the practice field. Although Heacham Manor at present does not have a club house, changing facilities and showers are available with our two portable changing rooms, allowing you to freshen up after playing. The Hotel can provide lunch and dinner before or after your round (dependent on tee off time) and light bar meals are also available between 12 noon & 2.30pm (this can be extended if pre booked). The hotel also serves afternoon tea, ideal for golfers returning mid-afternoon. The hotel bar is open for all visitors and guests to enjoy and provides a wide range of drinks with superb views over the golf course from the sun terrace, please just remove your spikes and any dirty clothes before coming in for your refreshments. If you'd prefer to utilise the excellent facilities at Searles County Club, which includes a 10 bay driving range and putting green, a golf clubhouse with underfloor heated changing rooms, you can request to tee off from the 10th tee. The Searles clubhouse also provide good quality food and drink overlooking the enjoyable Searles 9 hole golf course, marshes, bowls green and fishing lakes. Click here for more info on the golf facilites at Searles. Booking your tee time in advance is highly recommended and can be done online here, or by calling reception on 01485 536 030. In order to ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible, please read our rules on dress code and buggy hire. As a young course we also have a number of temporary rules in place to help you enjoy your game as much as possible and to preserve and develop areas of the course, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with these prior to playing.
Description

It begins in a parkland style playing up Redgate Hill through established and newly planted trees. This landscape soon changes to a more links style with greater mounding, more shrub planting and raised undulating greens adding to the test.course_map.jpg

The front nine remains predominately links style with three large lakes to negotiate. The first and second lakes are linked by a winding stream fed from a weir which protects the front of the short par 3 fifth hole.

The third and largest lake provides the setting for the signature 7th hole. Also a par 3, the hole requires a well struck shot to carry the 100 yards of water fronting the green. The eleventh also incorporates the large lake which challenges you to take on the green with your second shot.

The next few holes return to a parkland setting with excellent views of The Wash afforded from the 14 tee. The 15th plays from an elevated tee down towards the Hotel and in full view of the terrace and conservatory.

The final 3 holes cross the Heacham river providing a good test at the end of the round. The 18th hole is a reachable par 5 but beware the Ringstead river on the left waiting to catch any errant approaches.

The Course is designed for players of all standards, with the introduction of 5 sets of tee positions. The championship tee will play a course over 7,000 yards whereas the blue junior tees will measure around 5,700 yards.
