Macdonald Linden Hall, Golf & Country Club

Built in 1812, Linden Hall is a fine example of Georgian architecture, boasting exceptional levels of comfort. Set in 450 acres of park and woodland, the hotel offers peaceful surroundings, a warm and friendly atmosphere plus comprehensive country club facilities including a spa centre, swimming pool, gymnasium, country pub and its own golf course. The course, with stunning views of the Nothumberland countryside, is a 18 parkland layout designed to the highest specifications by Jonathon Gaunt. The course is maintained to very high standards and Jonathan Gaunt seems to have achieved the impossible, a course which tests the good golfer (especially from the back tees) whilst not being too demanding of teh less skilled player.
