Description
Patshull Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club is situated amongst wonderfully mature trees, rolling parkland and expansive lakes in a beautiful 280 acre Shropshire estate that was designed by the renowned Capability Brown back in the 18th century.

The hotel has 49 rooms many with views over the golf course.

The course at Patshull was laid out by the former Ryder Cup Captain John Jacobs within the Capability Brown designed grounds of what was once the home of the Earl of Dartmouth. Over 70 acres of lakes provide substantial interest to the course.

Visitors are always welcome and the hotel offers numerous 'stay & play' type packages.

Practice facilities let this one down. The course is tight, especially in the wind. Plenty of water to lose balls in. Bunkers need a little more sand. The greens run true and really show up the effect of the grain. The hotel is only three star, but do not be fooled - it's on our groups repeat visit list.
