Facilities
Good clubhouse with full bar & catering plus private function room. Well stocked golf shop and golf practice area.
Description

An historic club, founded in 1887, the 18 hole parkalnd course was originally laid out by that most famous of golf course architects Dr. Alister MacKenzie.

The course is parkland in nature but with a 'links' feel to some of the holes. The fairways are wide and undulating and the two or even three tiered greens are considered some of the best in Fife.

The views away across the Forth Valley and including the Forth rail and road bridges are simply beautiful.

The clever design means the course can challenge the very best of golfers without being too punitive to those of a higher handicap.

Visitors are welcome. Contact club to make arrangements.

A good test.

The 1st at Pitreavie is a tough opening par 4 which can easily wreck a score card. Burns come into play on 9 of the holes and many of the greens are two tiered which can severly test your putting. The 12th, when played from the medal tees, is the mirror image of the 12th at Augusta but the burn in front of the green is mercifully narrower. The 17th, stroke index 1, is a long par 4 when played into the prevailing westerly winds.
All facilities have recently been upgraded.
