Prenton is a Parkland Course

Very pretty course. Our greens have never been better - a lot of hard work throughout the past few months has enabled it to stay open and offer very good golf.
New management is beginning to show with better facilities, higher level of maintenance and a general feeling of optimism about the Club, its members and facilities.
If you haven't experienced a Prenton welcome - would recommend you sign up for the Prenton Festival of Golf, June 8th- 13thOpen

MIKE BRADLEY

THIS WAS PIG AND WHISTLE GOLF SOCIETY, LIVERPOOL (RENOWNED PUB BY THE 3 GRACES AND RIVER MERSEY)FOR THE CAPTAINS CUP - STABLEFORD FORMAT. FOR DESCRIPTION OF HISTORY AND FACILITIES I ALWAYS RECOMMEND THE WEBSITE. ON A FINE SUNNY DAY THIS IS A LOVELY COURSE TO PLAY. PLENTY OF LONG HOLES BUT SOME TRICKY GREENS WHICH HAVE HOLLOWS AROUND THEM. EG 5TH HOLE ONE LONG DRIVE AND ONE IRON, DEPENDING HOW GOOD YOU ARE, YOU CANNOT ALWAYS SEE THE GREEN SO ARE SURPRISED WHEN YOU FIND BALL ON THE GREEN IN THE HOLLOW. I'M A 28 PLAYER AND MANAGED TO WIN WITH 37 POINTS ON SUCH A FINE SUNNY DAY. A GOLF DAY AS IT SHOULD BE AND VERY ENJOYABLE.
