Description
Chester-le-Street District Council opened Roseberry Grange Golf Complex in 1987 on the site of what had previously been Handenhold Pit, part of the West Pelton Colliery, which closed in 1967.

Roseberry Grange has continued to build on its early success and is now considered to be one of the best public golf courses in the region.

The golf complex comprises an 18 hole, par 71, course of over 6,000 yards which can be played and enjoyed by both the beginner and the experienced golfer. In addition golfers can also use the 17 bay floodlit driving range to hone their skills with expert coaching from the golf professional and his staff.

After playing relax in the spacious and comfortable clubhouse, which provides a wide range of food and beverages at value for money prices.

Visitors are always welcome.
