Shirley Park Golf Club, situated 1 mile from the centre of Croydon, was designed in 1913 by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler. The designers used the natural undulations of the ground to provide interest and a challenge on every hole. Snaking through mature oaks and occasionally crossing ravines, club selection is always important to protect a good score but the generous fairways mean the course can be appreciated by players of all abilities.
The clubhouse offers excellent facilities and a warm welcome and golf groups are always welcome (contact club to make arrangements).
