St bees school built its own course in 1929. The golf course is situated by the sea with views of St. Bees head, the Isle of Man & the Lakeland fells. It is 5,307 yards in length, a hilly course with small greens and for those that stray too far, thick rough awaits them. In the late summer of 1990 nine extra tee boxes were installed so that the second nine holes would have different lengths and angles of approach. Visitors are always welcome.
