Description

The Manor Golf Club, Laceby, is now owned and managed by the Grimsby Institute of Higher and Further Education.  The course was originally established as a nine hole in 1991 and extended to 18 holes in 1995.  After substantial investment the course today is an interesting parkland course, with tree-lined fairways, plenty of water hazards and a two-tiered club house with a modern lounge and restaurant plus a veranda overlooking the first and 18th greens and offering superb views of the course .  Visitors are always welcome.

The ever Improving Parkland course

Having been a member at The Manor for seventeen years, i have seen the course go from a flat open farm field to a tight very enjoyable parkland course. We have had some very good praise from lot's of visiters over the last year, especially from people who played it a few year ago and can not believe the improvements. It is a course to challenge any standard of golfer, and the warm greeting you get is second to none.

Mr M.Woolliss

The Manor G.C has got a growing reputation as a very tuff test of golf, and anybody who has not played the course will be amazed at how well it has matured for a course of it's age, The Manor G.C held the Lincolnshire Captain's Society Golf day on 23rd May 08, and recieved rave review's from all the Captain's that attended from the organisation and hospitality to the fantastic condition of the course. If anybody has played it but not for a number of years you should visit it and again and you will not believe the difference. The course also as changed ownership about a year ago and now runs a golf acadamy, this is down to the Grimsby Institute now owning the course.
