Description
The Players Club, previously the Codrington golf Club) offers 2 18 hole courses (The Codrington and The Stranahan course) plus a Par 3 course (The Water Garden).

Often described as 'Inland Links' courses because of the rolling sand based fairways but with an unusual mix of gorse and water.

The Codrington is the main course and it was ranked 113 in the Golf World 'Best Courses in great Britain and Ireland' 2006. The tight fairways and lots of water make this a course capable of challenging even the best,, but multiple tee positions mean it can be played and enjoyed by less able golfers.

Visitors are always welcome. contact club to make arrangements

Lovely 'Inland Links' with lots of water!

Played here on a cold but clear day in early March. Early in the season but the course was well maintained and certainly proved a challenge.

There is water in play on several holes and with some tight fairways it meant you had to think about club selection (not a bad thing apparently - I haven't mastered it!)

Greens were very good, big, undulating but running true.

Clubhouse was very friendly and reasonably priced.

All in all, certainly one to play if you get the chance.
