The course, home of the St. Jude Classic, was designed by Ron Pritchard with PGA Tour players Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller contributing as consultants.
Prichard incorporated the subtle nuances of the existing topography into the course design, creating a picturesque natural layout highlighted by corridors of undulating zoysia grass fairways, champion Bermuda grass greens and numerous lakes, streams and ponds. Adding to the charm of the course are two grain silos and a windmill, remnants of the dairy farm once located on the site.
From the back tees the Par 70 courses measures 7,244 yards and provides a stiff challenge for the best players in the world during the St. Jude Classic, but clever positioning of five sets of tees on each hole mean golfers of all abilities can enjoy this fantastic course.
