Last week I took a demo gokart trolley out for 18 holes at Pedham Place.

In short, it's great. The automatic handle is really, really clever. Just touch it lightly and start walking and it matches your pace. You can then let go until you want to stop it - light hand on the handle and stop walking.

The fold-down and unfold mechanism is very simple and it gets pretty small - smaller than my current Clickgear push trolley. The battery attachment is simple and wire-free.

It gets up really steep inclines with no problem at all.

It's pretty basic, there is no display, distance control, battery meter or anything. Fine by me.

There's no brake, which caught me out once or twice.

All in all it's a really good trolley and a good price and the company are a joy to deal with. There's only one reason I didn't buy one on the spot and it's this: the wheelbase is narrow and the CoM quite high. As a result I struggled to keep up upright when on a left/right or right/left sloping path. I might yet go and buy one after I've tried a few more out since this looks like quite a common issue with electric carts.
