Dennis, I can't see an ace on your card !
what happened ?  What is a hole in one or just a misprint ?
Regards

 Evening all,

I was lucky enough to hit one earlier in the summer.

Canons Brook 5th hole par 3 151 yards hit the front of the green and rolled right into the cup.

Best thing that has ever happened in my life!

The nature of the hole means that I wasn't certain it was in until I was 50 yards away.

Thanks I'm looking forward to the north. I will post my most recent scorecards tomorrow. I have improved dramatically from the last time I played a tsg event!

Happy new year.

Its not luck Matt...it was the perfect shot...rejoice
Pity you didnt actually see it roll into the cup though. There is a story about a GC in the States where the green is behind a large mound..i.e. a blind hole...and kids were employed to roll any ball that held the green into the cup...apparently, only certain 4-balls were targeted....foreigners to the club, and all that. The intention being ..to improve the take at the clubhouse bar....Hope your bill wasn't too large
