Who fancies a game at Sunningdale Heath Golf Club on Sun 02 August? If so add yourself to the list so that I know who's definitely coming and I'll book the tee time.
The course measures about 3,500 yards (do not let this figure deflect you!), is located in very attractive quintessentially British countryside and is described by golfing legend Peter Alliss, as being 'Quite Magical.” Par is 61 with a mixture of par 3's and 4's.The low handicap golfer finds club selection demanding, the high handicap golfer may find the heather punishing but all enjoy the experience at Sunningdale Heath golf course (formerly Sunningdale Ladies).
Thank you Dave for a great day on the golf Course . Best regards Brigitte
Hi Brigitte - I'm not certain, but I don't think they sell honey anymore unfortunately. The bee hives have also been moved and are no longer on the course I noticed when I was playing there a few games ago. See you later. Dave
Thank you Dave, do you know if they still sell Sunningdale honey in the Bar?Looking forward to seeing you all.Brigitte
Hi All - For those attending on Sunday please park in the second car park on the left at the top of the hill on Cross Road (off the A30). Tee-off time is at 14:10 with the tee booked in the name of David Greeno. I think payments for the round will probably be taken in the golf studio which is to the right of the club house as you look at it. The clubhouse, bar and toilets should all be open (there is a one way system operating in the club house). I'll be there about 10 minutes before tee-time and will wait near the tree near the small putting green. I'll be wearing a white sun hat (with 'Evian' written on the front) probably. Social distancing rules will apply for the round as you probably realise. See you tomorrow! Dave (07887 683171)
