Thank you to Ian and the TSG team for organising an excellent event at Pedham Place today. A wonderful bunch of people. A special thank you to my fourball team of the two Martins and Gary for all your encouragement on the way round the 27 holes. Than you to Paul Houghton on a well fought final. Vive le TSG.
Thank you Ian - as ever, a great day and lots of fun (shame about my golf). Well done to my team mates and their wins
Congratulations to both Pauls and a massive thanks to Mark and Ian for organising an amazing day, I'd also I'd like to say what a great day I had, I met so many lovely people nice to put names to faces and hope to meet up with some of you soon.

Well done to the two Pauls for getting to the final playoff, and top marks to Paul Thorne for picking up the trophy!
And also well done to Paul Houghton for his runner up spot. Great Final.
Congratulations Paul Thorne, the new TSG Par 3 champion. Another splendid day at pedham place. A good day out and no rain.
Do you want me to sign it, Gary :)
Mark, just heard from Var and Liverpool have been awarded 7mins injury time and a goal as usual see you tomorrow ill bring your champions of europe shirt
Hi Roger, glad to hear there is no problem with your handicap. See you tomorrow.
Hi Roger, hope this gets sorted and I’ll see you there on Friday.
Mark, glad to hear there is no problem, and to make it easy, if the others members think my h/c is not fair, i am happy not to play, no problem roger
Roger, no problem. The TSG Team will DM you tomorrow.
Mark, thats fine no worries ill wait for VAR to overturn this shortly ...lol
Mark, as i have submitted more cards than anyone on the tsg can you explain why i am on your list? i have been in the uk all of this year, my tsg h/c is lower than my world h/c, which i was happy to except, as under the rules of golf, a player who has more than 1 h/c must play using the lower h/c, so can you please explain, all the cards that i have submitted this year , the same as all the other tsg , do they not count, is the system incorrect for everyone or just for me , i know over the years people complain about my h/c because my scores tend to be more consistent than most, and scores in portugal tended to push my h/c up which i agree gave me a unfair advantage, on my return to the uk, but this year is different, all this years scores are in the uk, it was for ,this reason, i have been band from the leader board, which is ok by me, but i do feel if i enter a comp, i should be treated under the same rules as everyone, there has been others who have scored as well as myself, but they have not been given a reduced h/c, when you post a notice like this for all to read, it makes me look like i am not playing by the rules, and so must be singled out, but if you ask the many members that i play with, you will find they will confirm i always play by the rules, you state apologies for offence caused, but thems the rules, but whos rules are you talking about, maybe you should have sent me a message in my inbox first, giving me your reason for your action, Ian told me in the past he was happy for me to play in any TSG comp its was only the leaderboard that i was banned , i await your reply with interest roger
Hi All,Just doing some H'cap checks ahead of the day and despite the criteria for the event being x3 cards to be submitted in the last 12 months (in order for your H'cap to be active) the following players have not submitted any or sufficient cards during the period and will therefore not be eligible for the main prizes - Sorry! For those that have requested a H'cap check in the last 12 months, your H'cap has been adjusted as set out below:Richard the Great (No cards - Playing for Guest Trophy)Gary Wilson (No cards - Playing for Guest Trophy)Valerie Hammond (Insufficient cards - Playing for Guest Trophy)Gary Cartlidge (Insufficient cards - Playing for Guest Trophy)Roger Ireland (H'cap Adjustment -2 shots)Apologies for any offence caused but them's the rules!Looking forward to seeing everyone!Marky Mark
The giveaway is that it's :The TSG Par 3 Championship!
I think it’s all on the Par 3 academy course, would be good if it was 18 first though :)
Do we play on 18 hole course in am or the par 3 all day ?
The half time quiz questions are all ready, so have your thinking caps on over lunch :)

Dear TSGers,With only a few weeks to go to tee-off in the first TSG Major of the year, we now have the day confirmed with the club (taking into account the provisions and rulings for COVID etc).We are very pleased to say the event goes ahead, with a few rules and restrictions, that we ask everyone to adhere to AT ALL TIMES.1. A mask must be worn whilst inside the clubhouse at all times2. Unlike previous years, you will now play in your fourball both am & pm3. We ask you to also sit with your fourball during lunch 4. No shaking hands, on or off the course5. Scorecards should NOT be swapped on the dayFinally, the payment link above is now live and we ask everyone to pay their event fees by Sunday 6th June at midnight.Anyone pulling out of the day after this deadline may affect their eligibility to attend future TSG Events. That's it for now, we look forward to seeing you all on the day!Ian & MarkThe TSG Event Team----------------------Ps. If you would like to be paired with a specific player on the day or indeed you have a specific player you DO NOT wish to be paired with, please let us know ahead of the above deadline. :)PPS. If you are bringing a Guest, could you please email us with their name and H'cap at email@example.com
I'm in 😊
Just kidding, I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed then.Though if someone pulls out I hope it's for a good reason
Problem Barry, is there are only 9 tees, so one hole gets two sets of players ready to tee off on the shotgun start, so only 40 players (Ian doesn't count!)
I think 45 players are better than 41 don't you think haha
