Founded in 1914, and laid out onfamous Melbourne sandbelt,the Commonwealth Golf Club is recognised as one of Australia's finest courses.
Thecourse is well laid out with a variety of interesting and challenging holes and it is always maintained to the very highest standards.
The club has hosted many major championships during its history including the Austalian Open Championship, the Victorian Open and the Australian Amateur Championship. In February 2010 it will host the Women's Australian Open.
