DESCRIPTION:

Elbow Springs Golf Club, opened in 1991, is set in the beautiful Elbow RiverValleyon the southern edge ofCalgary. The club offers three loops of nine holes all designed by local architect Ron Ehlert (Mountain View Course, Elbow Course, The Springs Course).

The Mountain View course, the opening nine of the original course, is perhaps the easiest of the loops. With water in play on only three of the holes it offers wide fairways leading to large, well protected, sand based Bent grass greens.

The Elbow course offers a tougher challenge than the Mountain View course, with tighter fairways meandering along the Elbow River, dog-leg fairways and wateroften in play means it is best to leave the driver in tha bag.

The Springs Course is also a particularly challenging layout with water and out of bounds affecting play on eight of the nine holes making this a course for the thinking man.

All the courses arebeautiful, challenging and always well maintained. Visitors are welcome. Contact club to make arrangements.

Fantastic greens, a great course to play

I found the course great to play. Fairways suffered a bit from winter but they are working to restore them. Greens were fantastic. Great course to play.
