DESCRIPTION:

Located in the heart of the 1000 Islands, Canada's world famous destination for boating, fishing andvacationing, and part of the Glen House Resort, Smuggler's Glen Golf Course opened in 2005 to instance acclaim (the course was nominated'Best New Golf Course' by Golf Digest in 2006).

The course design takes full advantage of the rugged and beautiful Canadian Shield landscape of mature mixed forests, tall white pines, high granite cliffs and rolling hills and valleys and isa testament to the skills of it's designer Boyd Barr and the vision ofit's owners the Seal family, owners of Glen House Resort.

The 18 hole championship length, 6500 yardcourse features bent grass greens and fairways, brilliant white sand bunkers and fabulous vistas from several highly elevated tees. The layout offer scenic beauty and a true test of golf for golfers of all ability.

Fairly new course will be in it's sixth season in 2009. Many elevated tees with ondulating fairways and huge greens. This a very scenic course as you can see many surrounding holes from tees. Worth playing a couple of times a year even though it is a long drive from Ottawa.
