Fantastic place to stay & play

Stayed here for a short break in April and played the course twice.
We stayed in the converted barn 100 yards from the chateau and the accommodation was great (modern, light, good value). Our deal came with an evening meal which was the best I've had on any inclusive package.
The course is lovely with a tough start playing on flat ground along the river infront of the chateau (water in play on the first four holes). Then it changes completely by moving into the undulating woods behind the chateau. Here each hole is different with wide fairways but with the woods seemingly always threatening to eat your ball.
The only disappointment was that the greens had a problem (someone did tell me what it's called but I forgot!) which means that the greens weren't the best (but I've been told they will recover over the next month or so).
All in all, definitely worth a visit as it's only 90 minutes from Calais.
