In my all time Top 10 courses...

I won't spend too long writing this review as Brigitte has done my job for me in her very comprehensive review on the TSG blog pages. However, I will say this - I loved it!

What a course!! What a venue for the Ryder cup

An absolute delight, a real germ with hardly anyone playin gon the course. Got there on a Saturday morning teing off at 7.10 with friends....Clubhouse not opened, no starter!! We just couldn't beleive it, surely this venue needs to sort itself out in term of service and welcome, but being in France it will be difficult!
We played the course 6 days after the French open had finished and it was immaculate. Every hole is fantastically designed. Inland Links open to wind you often take thre more clubs than you normally would, it is a long, mighty long course. We played from the whites and think the SSO is 74.6....Challenge ahead, bring few more balls that you would normally would.
Will go back there and play this course again.
Shame about the restaurant "Fair PLay", it was sunny day and didn't want to serve food on the terrace....French have lost a plot in service in France...and I am French!!
