Greenfield Golf Lcub in Hungary (formerly known as Birland Golf & Country Club in only 25 km inland from Hungary's western frontier with Austria is apopular holiday resort.
The local golf course - Hungary's first such complex to win international qualification - formed the basis on which Greenfield Golf & Country Club was established in 1991. From the beginnings of its establishment the club has been a fully powered member of the Hungarian Golf Association and of the European Golf Association.
In 1995, it was admitted a member of the Relais du Golf Hotels & Resorts chain, in which are listed the highest-standard golf resorts officially recommended by the 'PGA of Europe'.
