Dreamland golf

Set on the northern coast of Langkawi by the emerald green Andarman Sea looking over to Thailand and wth the backdrop of the Gugung Machinchang primordial mountain range.
Unusually, no bunkers on the course, but challenges provided by natural dangers of beach, streams and lake drop offs from sloping elevated greens - with no reprieve.
The course runs up and down through the foothills back and forth to the sea. The beautiful holes hugging the coast are simply stunning especially when played into the golden hues of early evening. There are numerous doglegs and "S" curves, streams across fairways plus a couple of drop offs. This includes a stunning Par 3 with a lake in front and +100 foot drop off from the tee into a sheltered green. Your first round here will have your grabbing your camera at every turn. But beware the local monkeys who have no fear and are kleptamaniacs - although mainly for food. A memorable days golf and not to be missed when in Langkawi. Treat yourself, you won't forget it.
