Karachi Golf Club began life as an affiliate of Sindh Club in 1888 and was registered as an independent golf club in 1891. However it moved to its current location in 1953 (taking over land around a neglected RAF 9 hole golf course.
Major work began in 1985 and in 1991 Peter Heredine was invited to design the current day 18 hole Championship course. This course wascompleted by 1992 and then work began on a further 9 holes in 1993 to give the 7 hole layout you see today (3 nine hole loops known as Blue, Red & Yellow).
To enjoy a roundGolf equipment and Golf Carts can be hired or purchased from the Pro Shop and theclub also offers the services of Caddies. The Professionals at the Golf Club offers private coaching andthere is a Par-3, nine hole Course for short game and practice.
