Belas is a newly built golf and residential complex located across the road from the old Lisbon Sporting Club.
The complex covers an area of 465 hectares (1,150 acres) and great effort was made to retain the natural environmental characteristics.
Balas is a technically demanding course with excellently maintained frairways and greens running across an otherwise barron hillside.
With its excellent variety of holes the course is a pleasure to play whatever one's handicap level. It demands both skill and tacticall play and is acknowleged both locally and internationally as one of Portugal's best constructed layouts.
