Almerimar Golf Club

This is a very smart place, well catered for tourist golfers but the Bar closes at 4.45/5pm, a little early when you have a lunch time round.!

The course was very interesting, lovely design, some very tricky holes, double legged water holes Par 5s, all Par 3s were very long and low index. Excellent fairways and lush rough, some slopes towards water, sand is lovely, rather thick (not as thick as Epping GC's , Essex) but very manageable.

I had my best round on this course, managing 5 Pars. A course I would play again but with an earlier tee time to enjoy the Bar and the Kitchen, a must when on a golfing holiday, but the sun was shining and we had time for a swing on our return to La Envia Hotel.
