Isla Canela is a hotel and resort complex set within the nature reserve alongside the Guadiana River.
The golf course, designed by Juan Catarineu, is laid out on flat land alongside the river which makes for very comfortable walk. The wide fairwaysrun between natural dunes giving an open feel to the course but the strategic placement of bunkers and the integration of the river into several holes means that the course can challenge even the best golfers.
