DESCRIPTION:

Alhaurin Golf Club is a spectacular Seve Ballesteros designed18 hole, Championship length, Par 72 course set just inland from Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol.

The courseis laid out on undulatingland which offers some fantastic views of across the surrounding countryside anda good mix of holes with 5 par 5s,5 par 3s and 8 par 4s.

Unusually for a Seve design, the course only has water in play on three holes and the greens are relatively lightlyguarded.Themain challenge comes fromavaoiding the numerous trees which line the course - the mix of Pine, SpanishOak, Cypress, Orange, Olive and Palm trees may be beautiful to see but they can also prove an annoyingobstacle to a good score.

Visitors are always welcome. Contact club to make arrangements.

well worth a visit

this is a very tight course set in the hills of alhaurin, there are a few blind holes but there are also some stunning holes and views, the course was in fair to good condition and the greens were fast and tricky.well worth a visit a good test of golf.
