Another acquisition for GETGOLFING.....

Ansty is in a prime position to become a huge golf centre & more for the Midlands due to its vicinity to Coventry and surrounding areas where some courses are closing due to lack of investments or greedy housing developers.

Ansty has the space for great things to happen and GETGOLFING certainly know how & where to invest, regenerate & attract new clientele.

Ansty has a full 18 holes parkland course and a 9 holes, Par 3s, Academy dated back to 1990, quite mature by now but with an open feel.

A rural setting with panoramic views, I found my way around the 18 holes course even without a course planner. There is a variety of holes, some have water element, either ponds or ditches, some ups and downs , but very pleasant walk. I enjoyed my game in the sun to start with but then a storm came in with thunder and torrential rain on the 12th hole where fortunately there was a wooden shelter where I took refuge with 2 other golfers, the storm passed fairly quickly, so I carried on but there were some large puddles and some greens were unplayable.

I met a few members who has recently joined as their nearby clubs were closing, they seem happy with the redevelopments etc.

he Clubhouse is an attractive red bricks building, not sure what the plans are for its remodelling, time will tell.

Friendly reception & welcome.

Modest Ladies changing rooms.

No Proshop only Tees and balls.

large covered driving range, a practice Putting Green

Large Car Park.

Easily accessible via M6 and A roads. Ansty seems like a very nice little town as I drove through.
