Come back in the summer

The course and club look quite special but let down by the following.
* greens were all winter greens on the decision that the greens were suffering from ice even though it was above zero all the way round and were ok in Jabuary
* had to play off mats and largely winter tees
* no reduction in price for the above reasons
I can understand clubs trying to protect their courses in winter but if they are going to charge the same price it leaves you wishing you'd paid a bit extra and gone elsewhere.

Pretty Little Course

Nice little course near Manchester. I played in and mats were compulsory on the fairway. These are little bits of plastic grass that you carry around to pick and place the ball on. Not everybody gets on with them. £15 online is good value in the winter, so long as you can get on with fairway mats.

Well maintained good course

Excellent course with all the facilities you need. Green fees £20. Try the grilled breakfast in the clubhouse only £3.95. Really good day out and will definitely come back
