Whitehaven Golf Club was bought by Western lakes Ltd from Copeland Borough Council in 2005. Since then it hasbenefitted from massive investment which has seen refurbishment of the clubhouse, construction of a covered driving range including a huge professional shop and teachingfacility.
The courseis an 18 hole, 6,246 yard, Par 70 layout with American style holes protected by9 ponds, variouswoodland areas and numerousbunkers. The course is always well maintained and you are assured a good golf challenge. Plus, if your golf is a bit off you can console yourself with the fantastic views of the Lakeland Fells.
