Old Padeswood Golf Club, founded in 1977,is situated on land in the picturesque Alyn Valley which containednine holes of the original Padeswood & Buckley Golf Club. In 1983 the clubacquiredthe additional land necessary to extend the course to 18 holes. The result is an 18 hole meadowland course split betweenthe lower parts (frequently crossed by streams and ditches) and the upper parts around the new clubhouse. Visitors are always welcome.
