Quindell in November

The course was interesting enough as the holes not easy, a fair few dog legs and strategically placed bunkers. It was a bit hard to get a good feel for the place as it was very boggy in places and tried to spoil the round. There was almost zero run on most holes and plugging was inevitable as the weather has taken a real strangle hold on the course.

I will have to play it again in the spring and make a better judgement. The place has a bit of an odd feeling about it, on entry to the estate you are led down a road that is lined with what can only be described as footballers mansions which are a little bit garish to say the least. Each to their own i suppose, but it felt to me a bit over done and left me with a taste of fake written all over it. Take a look in the summer months I would suggest and see for yourself, If not for the golf then the model world that you are presented it with.

quindell golf course

a good course for the money, the first five holes breaks you in gently but it can be a bit boggy in places and there is a few holes for the big hitters, there is a tough par 3 whos green runs from right to left quit sharply, so over all it a good mixture of challanging holes for big hitters and short game players

Have been a member here since it first opened and the current owners have put a lot of effort and money into making the club a si=uccess. The clubhouse and fitness centre are excellent and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome. The course is well presented and can often catch even the best golfers out.
