Nice course, surprisingly challenging

Ashford first looks like an unassuming parkland course. As you progress through the round, it plays much more challenging than it looks, thanks to some clever design and well protected greens.

Enjoyable day at Ashford

Excellent breakfast and friendly service. Course in great condition and the layout - with ditches and doglegs - requires a bit of planning from the tee.
Our society enjoyed their day.
Only improvement suggested is better on course indicators to the next tee. For a first timer at Ashford it isn't always obvious where to go.

Otherwise fine.

Nice tree lined course

Played this course in a society and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a bit slow but that's due to playing in a society with some narrow tree lined fairways.

Tricky greens quite fast but large. Some easy holes to get you back in the thick of it.

Clubhouse was good and staff friendly.

Practice range quite small so didnt use it. Good access from the motorway. Well worth playing.
