DESCRIPTION:

Breedon Priory Golf Club, located in the stunning Leicestershire countryside, offers two unique courses: an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole academy course. The 18-hole course, with a par of 70 and stretching 6,222 yards, is known for its challenging layout that includes tree-lined fairways, well-placed bunkers, and water hazards that come into play on several holes. The academy course is perfect for beginners or those looking to sharpen their skills. Established in 1991, Breedon Priory has built a reputation for its scenic views and excellent course conditions.

Near the M42 and A453, the club is easily accessible from Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester.

After a round, visitors can explore the nearby National Trust’s Calke Abbey or enjoy a walk through the tranquil Breedon Hill Nature Reserve. Breedon Priory Golf Club is the perfect location for golfers seeking both a challenging game and a peaceful escape in the countryside.

A Hidden Gem (?)

A course which fits into the countryside very well. With a selection of testing holes, (with one or two greens too testing for me) the course wends its way uphill and downhill giving you a varied selection of golfing problems.
