DESCRIPTION:

Cotgrave Place is part of the Crown Group (32 golf courses). Originally built in 1991, Cotgrave Place Golf Club boasts two magnificent 18-hole courses that are set in over 300 acres of Nottinghamshire countryside, just 6 miles from Nottingham city centre. The Open Course comprises a front nine set around a lake and waterways complex that not only offers a golfing challenge, but is also host to a considerable amount of wildlife. The back nine offers a challenge with mature trees strategically placed to make it a true parkland course. The Masters course, originally 9 hole, was extended in 1997 with a new nine designed by Peter Alliss. The front nine has recently undergone some major renovation and remodelling, and combines hedgerows and undulating fairways with large greens and water features. Cotgrave Place has just completed a major refurbishment scheme of around a third of a million pounds to the clubhouse, Pro Shop, function rooms, changing rooms and several other course improvements which now make it one of the premium clubs in the district.
